Kristal Aubrey Bornillo
Kristal Aubrey Bornillo is ESR 11. Kristal’s project title is “Development of silicone-free pre-filled plastic syringes by compression moulding of nano-structured surfaces”.
Background: Kristal worked for 2 years as a Mold Process Engineer at a semiconductor company. Kristal has a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, specialising in environmental nanotechnology, at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, South Korea. Kristal’s degree is in Materials Engineering from the University of the Philippines.
Research interests: Kristal is interested in the development and fabrication of nano-/micro-materials and structures for environmental and medical applications. Electrospinning and compression molding are production/replication methods that she is also interested in.
