Yohann Delaunay
Yohann Delaunay is ESR6. His individual research project is “Precision processing of biobased polymers for device concepts in medical applications”
Background:
Yohann has a master in eco-design of polymers and composites from the University of South Britany, France. He worked two and a half years in an automotive company in Germany on various topics link to the deployment of a composite with natural fibers and the adhesion between plastics and substrates. Yohann has a strong background in material characterization, material manufacturing, life cycle assessment, bio-polymers and recycled polymers.
Research interest:
Yohann is interested in the development of sustainable product with bio-based polymers and recycled polymers. He would like to develop his understanding on the environmental impact of bio-based polymers compare to petroleum-based polymers and recycled polymers. Yohann is focus on keeping the link between research and industrial application.
